FINELLA, ALEXANDER (JIM), - Age 85 of Orlando, FL; passed away quietly December 26, 2017. Predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth in 2015. Dearest Son of Dorothy Gizzi Age 104 and Father of Edward and his wife Cathy Finella of Savannah, GA; and John and his wife Cynthia Finella of Orlando; Proud Grandfather of Elizabeth and Danielle Finella; and Brother-In-Law to Anthony Bressi of Orlando. Predeceased in death by Sister Elizabeth Bressi in 2010.

Jim was a husband, Father and Grandfather, where he dedicated his entire life towards the happiness of his family. He worked at Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control formally Glen L. Martin for 33 years working his way up from a Tester to the Director of the Apache Arrowhead program. He served as a Drill Sergeant at the age of 19 in the United States Army during the Korean War and was appointed the Commander and President of the Italian American War Veterans of the United States from September 1998 thru October 2000; and member of the Italian American Social Club where he and his wife were active members for over 30 years.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday, January 5th from 6-8pm at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando FL; funeral services will be held the following day, Saturday, January 6th at 11am. Mr. Finella will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
