Barbara Jean Pirie (Kinlaw)

Barbara Jean (Kinlaw) Pirie, born April 26, 1939, in Jackson, MI, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024.  Family and friends were at her side. 

Barbara grew up in Jackson, MI, and graduated Redford Union High School in Detroit, MI. Following graduation, her father retired and moved the family to Orlando in 1956.  

After High School, Barbara began her career working in the Loan Department at the First National Bank of Orlando. Through various corporate changes, First National became Sun Bank, Sun Trust and currently TRUIST. In total, Barbara remained at the bank working full time for 46 years. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Pirie. She is survived by her sister, Nanette B. Oakley, her nieces Linda Altman & Judy Flitter.
