BEN A THOMPSON, Jr.

Ben A. Thompson, Jr (Ben Jr), 58, born in Tallahassee, and a life long resident of Orlando Florida, passed away on March 20, 2019, while fishing. He graduated from Boone High School and obtained Technical
Training at the Orlando Vocational Center in Orlando, where he received is his Certification in Office Equipment Repairs. In his younger years, Ben Jr. was a dog handler/trainer, working with his Uncle in Idaho, primarily with one of his favorite breeds, Brittany Spaniels.
For several years, Ben Jr. worked as a talented typewriter repair man at Ben Thompson's Office Equipment CTR, Inc., his father's business, where he developed lifelong skills and enjoyed meeting and helping people. Always having a love for the outdoors, he did lawn care and was a handyman in the local area during the later years of his life always taking pride in what he did. Ben Jr's hard work did not go unnoticed by all those who were fortunate to have known him and utilized his abilities and skills.
Where ever Ben Jr. went thru out his entire life, people young and old and in between were drawn by his warm smile, gentle demeanor, compassion and love for others, animals, the outdoors and especially fishing.
He is predeceased in death by his Father, Ben A. Thompson, Sr. and surviving relatives at the time of his death, include his Mother, Freida G. P. Thompson (Gay), Orlando, FL, his sisters, Terri T Wright, Orlando, FL and Tracie T. Wang, Birdsboro, PA and his brother, Bart A., Orlando, FL, nephews, David B. Wright, Panama City Beach, FL and Steadman A. Wang, Birdsboro, PA and nieces, Jennifer W. Horton, Altamonte Springs, FL and Kristina N. Wang, Kirkland, WA, a great nephew, Ramsay J. Horton, Altamonte Springs, FL, as well as several cousins and numerous friends.
