Betty Rice

Betty Jean Rice passed January 24, 2017 peacefully in her home. Betty Jean was born in Mars Hill, NC on July 12th, 1932 to Verge & Minnie Belle Coffey. She was married to her childhood sweetheart for over 67 years and has now joined him in heaven. Orlando resident since 1954, Betty was an active member in her church community, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her two sons David Rice, John Rice and daughter-in-law Patsy Rice, grand daughters Amanda Rice and Taylor Rice, and sister Mary Etta Culbertson. Service will be @ Delaney St. Baptist Church. Visitation 1:30. Funeral service 2pm, January 27, 2017. Arrangements by Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home.
