Carl Lyndol Foehr, age 98, passed away peacefully at home in Orlando, Florida. Born on November 26, 1927, in Lincoln, Carl lived a long and meaningful life centered around family, friendship, service, and adventure.
Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army World War II he served a total of 8 years with the Army, 4 active duty and 4 in the reserves. His dedication, strength, and sense of duty remained evident throughout his life and were admired by all who knew him. He was also a devout Christian and active member of his church community.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wives, Phyllis Foehr and Mary Foehr. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Steven Foehr, Eric Foehr and his wife Julie, Ingrid Fratantuono, and Theodore Foehr and his wife Cynthia. Carl was also a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Carl had a passion for life and truly enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought people together. He was an avid golfer and bowler who cherished time spent with friends and family. One of his greatest joys was traveling the world on vacations with loved ones, creating memories and stories that will be treasured for generations.
Above all else, Carl will be remembered for his love of family, his steady presence, and the warmth and kindness he shared with those around him. His life was one well lived, and his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched.
A small Celebration of Life will be held at his church, United Church of Christ on Curry Ford Rd, Orlando Florida
