Carlos Ruben Pereira Aponte

Carlos Ruben Pereira Aponte, 80, beloved husband, father, and son, was called to his eternal resting place on February 22, 2026. He was born on March 28, 1945, in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, to Sixto and Gloria Pereira Aponte.

Carlos shared a beautiful life with the love of his life, Luz Eneida Resto, whom he married on August 13, 1969. Together they built a family rooted in love, faith, and dedication.

He is survived by his children: Libya Rachel Pereira, Derek Pereira, Carlos Ruben Pereira and Juan Carlos Pereira, who will forever cherish his guidance, strength, and unconditional love.

Carlos was known for his many passions. He loved to cook for family and friends, filling homes with both delicious meals and laughter. A man of faith, he enjoyed singing in church and expressing himself through music, especially by playing percussion instruments. He was also a dedicated salesman, admired for his work ethic, warmth, and ability to connect with others.

Carlos Ruben Pereira Aponte will be remembered for his generous heart, joyful spirit, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
