Daniel Patrick O'Donnell, II, 69, passed away from natural causes on December 4, 2022, in Orlando, Florida. Danny was born on September 18, 1953 in Orlando to William O. O'Donnell, Sr. and Elaine Prather O'Donnell. Danny was a life long native of Orlando and graduated from William R. Boone High School in 1971. After high school graduation, he played football at Georgia Tech University for two years before transferring to Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. In 1980, Danny was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother William O'Donnell, Jr., his sisters Karen Enck, Diane Engel, Mary Beth O'Donnell and Kathy Francisco and brother-in-law John Francisco. He is also survived by his uncle Charles Prather, his nephews Bill, Brian and Michael Enck, Joseph Engel, Scotty Daniels and Johnny Francisco, his nieces Katie and Emily Engel and Laynie Daniels. Danny also has many great nephews and nieces.

A funeral mass celebrating Danny's life will be held on Thursday, December 15th, at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Cathedral, 215 N. Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32801, followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery and a gathering to honor Danny at his sister Kathy's home.
