David Kenneth Keaton, 76, passed away on November 20, 2023, in Orlando, FL.
David Keaton was born on December 28, 1946 in Charlotte, NC, to Donald Keaton and Ruby Edith Keaton.

David graduated from Colonial High School in 1965.  He joined the US Air Force in 1966 and served for four years. In 1970 he began his career as a Firefighter for the City of Orlando.  His service was shortened by injury, and he retired in 1984.  However, he remained connected for many years with his fellow firemen. David enjoyed playing guitar, history, poker with friends, fishing, crossword puzzles, vacations to the mountains and Trivial Pursuit.

David married Wilma Harris in 1965. The couple had 4 children: Gary Keaton,  Kimberly Keaton Hulbert, Robert Keaton and Paul Keaton.  He is survived by his 4 children, 6 grandchildren - Brittany Keaton Speight, Justin Keaton, Chris Keaton, Keaton May, Dylan May, Grey Keaton and 10 great grandchildren, one brother Chipper Keaton and wife Patty, nephew Eddie Keaton and wife Tammy, Kiara and Hunter and niece Carrie Keaton. David is preceded in death by his second wife, Darlene Griffin, his father Donald Keaton, his mother Ruby Edith Keaton, his sister Donna Keaton Beal and his brother Paul Keaton.  


The memorial service for David Keaton will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home.
