Delia Hernandez, a beloved educator and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on September 25, 1928, in Santa Clara, Cuba, Delia moved to the United States, where she dedicated her life to the education of future generations.

As a devoted school teacher, Delia inspired countless students throughout her career and instilled a love of learning in all who crossed her path. Her kindness, passion for education, and unwavering dedication left an indelible mark on her community.

Funeral Services for Delia will be held on January 30, 2026, 10am at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, FL. 32806. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Delia's life and share their memories.

Delia will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.
