Dennis Nielsen, 59, of Groveland, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 28,2026. Born on August 5, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, Dennis lived a life filled with dedication to his family, faith, and passions.

A proud graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in Brooklyn, Dennis carried the values of hard work and perseverance into his career. For over 12 years, he was a devoted employee at Aldi supermarket. Known for his passion and commitment to excellence, Dennis took great pride in mentoring his colleagues and inspiring them to reach their full potential.

Dennis was a man of deep faith who embraced his Christian beliefs whole heartedly. He found joy in helping others and lived by the principles of kindness and compassion that were central to his faith. His generosity and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need left an indelible mark on those who knew him.

In his personal life, Dennis was a fun-loving individual with a goofy sense of humor that brought smiles to everyone around him. He cherished long walks on the beach and found peace in fishing during his leisure time. A devoted sports fan, he passionately supported the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, sharing many memorable moments cheering for his favorite teams.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife Madeleine; his cherished daughter Marissa; and his adored granddaughter Estelle. He also leaves behind his siblings: Richard, Robert, Eric, Cynthia, Isabel, John, and Lewis. He was predeceased by his parents Lewis and Patricia Nielsen and his brother Joseph.

Dennis's warmth and caring nature touched countless lives. His family and friends will forever remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence brought joy to all who knew him.

May Dennis Nielsen rest in eternal peace. A Viewing will be held on July 6, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL. There will be a Funeral Service at 5 PM, services will be lived streamed from below.
