Frances Jane Shackelford

"Frances Jane Shackelford, 88, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023. 
Frances was born in Louisa, Virginia to Hale & Lillian Hansen on April 26, 1935. Frances was a graduate of Louisa County High School, Class of 1954. 
After High School, Frances became a nurse's aide. Her responsibilities included weighing and caring for newborn babies. Frances furthered her career in caregiving in Ohio, where she served as a daycare worker and helped encourage and mold young minds in a loving manner. Her cheerful attitude and positivity were a joy to both family and friends.
She will be dearly missed. 
Frances is survived by a daughter, Sharon Gaus of Apopka, FL and a son, Dana Gail Shackelford, Jr. of Oakwood Village, OH.
She is predeceased by her husband, Dana Gail Shackelford and their daughter, Janie Wolfe. 
A memorial service will be held for Frances in October. More information will be forthcoming from her family."
