Grace J Waldrop

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & friend to many Grace J. Waldrop, 82, of Orlando, FL, died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness, on November 20, 2023.

Grace was born in Wetumpka, Al., the youngest of 4 children. She moved to Orlando in 1960, and this became home. Here she raised her family and built a wonderful life, filled with family and many long­ time friends.

She was a loving mother to her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her. She never knew a stranger and touched the lives of so many people throughout her life.

She was a business owner in the early 1980's.. Second Verse was one of the first of its kind to sell "gently used" clothing. After closing those doors, she enjoyed a successful career as a salesperson at both Dillards & Sak's Fifth Avenue.

Grace is survived by her children Gaye (Bobby}, Bill (Lexie), Eric (Sharon), grandchildren Shannon & Carolann & 4 great-grandchildren- Gage, Kylie, Kaylin & Brent.
