Guillermo Alfredo "Willie" Diaz Carro

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Guillermo Alfredo Diaz Carro, who left us on July 14, 2026, at the age of 57. Known to everyone as Willie, he was born on February 12, 1969, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Willie was the owner of WDC Renovations from 2010 up until his passing. His work ethic was unmatched, and his hands helped build countless structures that will stand as a testament to his craftsmanship and commitment.

He is the fiance of Elizabeth Taylor; proud father of Mercy Diaz, Guillermo (Roxanne) Diaz, Carmendelia (Emerald Contreras) Diaz, & the late Diana Diaz; loving son of Aurea Carro, & the late Guillermo Diaz; grandfather of Matthew, J'Manni, Preston, Sofia, & Amira; proud brother of Javier (Samantha) Diaz, Sherley (Jose Torres) Diaz, & Maria (Frankie Rios) Diaz; step-father of Jessie Grissom, & Vaughn Grissom; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Willie's family will forever remember him for his strength, kindness, and unwavering love.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 18th beginning at 4:30pm. For further information, please reach out to the family for details and location. A Memorial Service will be held the following week in his honor on Saturday, July 25th, beginning at 2pm. Services will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando FL. 32806. All are welcome to attend.

Willie will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
