Hector Reyes Hernandez (often known as Nelson) was born on March 13th 1952, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico. He was son to Francisco Reyes and Angelina Hernandez. While he only had two biological daughters, he was considered a father figure by many of his nieces and nephews and other friends and community folk. He was a joyful, comedic, fun-loving person who would always help others without hesitation. He was a construction contractor by trade; he loved music, singing, and dancing. He happily shared his musical talent with others by singing, playing the accordion or harmonica. Hector had a strong faith in God and loved sharing scripture. Hector is survived by his wife of 50 years, Angelina Reyes Aviles, his two daughters, Nesmaida Baez Reyes, Yenaira Reyes, his two granddaughters, Anyenise Marae Vilches and Kayliann Caban, three grandsons, Jonel Vilches, Jariel Caban and Joziah DeJesus, his survivng brothers and sisters, and many extended family members. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 4PM in the CAREY HAND COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL in Orlando, FL.  Visitation will be held from 2PM to service time at the funeral home.
