Jessica Lynn Bearns

Jessica "Jessie" Lynn Bearns of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the age of 77. She was born February 5, 1949 in Hagerstown, Maryland. Shortly after birth, she was adopted by her parents and began her life in Williston Park, New York.

Upon High School graduation, Jessie completed secretarial school and began working in a bank. She married her high school sweetheart, October 5, 1969 and began their love story. In 1974, she was blessed with her first born child Kimberly, and in 1979 , was blessed again with her son, Scott.

Jessie was a wife, mother, and homemaker for her family. She actively participated in school events with the children. She was a Girl Scout Leader, and also a Cub Scout Den mother. As the children grew older she re-entered the work force in retail management.

Jessie was very active in her grandchildren's lives and upbringing. Jessie also enjoyed cooking, hosting holidays and parties. She also loved spending time with loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gertrude Bugle, father Herbert Bugle, and beloved husband, Herbert Bearns.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Robert) Mackrodt; her son Scott (Heather) Bearns; grandchildren Ashlee Lamia, Connor Lamia, Peyton Lamia, Tyler Mackrodt, Logan Bearns, and Jaxon Bearns.

A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family.
