Jewell Waldroup

Jewell B. Waldroup passed from death into everlasting life on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Garrett and Erna Turner Broughton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Jewell, also lovingly known as Da, was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and an exceptionally fun Da (grandmother). She enjoyed serving in her church, taking care of others, and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include the love of her life for 63 years, Glenn J. Waldroup, two daughters, April Waldroup Miller (Jeff), of Brevard, NC and Michele Stucker (Ron) of Orlando, Florida, four grandsons, Jesse (Elizabeth), Josh (Chelsea), Andrew (Erin) and Nicholas (Kathryn) and four great-grandchildren Chloe, Liam, Macklin, and Madeleine Jewell.

The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their support and care.

A private family service will be held.
