John Joseph Kennedy, Jr. of Hunter's Creek, Florida passed away on September 19, 2026. John was born in Washington D.C., December 9, 1964. He grew up in Orlando and discovered his passion for helping others. He pursued a career in nursing as an RN at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and was known for his dedication to his patients and co-workers.

John fell in love and married Frini Gomez on December 5, 2013. Frini and their son, Jack, were the light of his life. John's family were enthusiastic participants in the many Hunter's Creek neighborhood and school events. Their community has brought them so much joy and support.

John will be remembered for his determination, positivity and love of family. He is survived by his wife Frini and son Jack; his mother Charline, his father Dr. John J. Kennedy (deceased), and four siblings: Megan Keck, Jennifer Brignac (Len); Patrick (Stephania); and Gavin.
