John Robert Tritt

September 14, 1954 — May 24, 2026

John Robert Tritt, 71, of Orlando, Florida peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Born in Tennessee to Robert and Christine Tritt, John was the oldest of three boys in a military family. John was known for his willingness to help others and his dedication to his family and community. He grew up working on classic muscle cars with his two brothers, Tom Tritt and Gary Tritt. He spent over 30 years in the construction industry working on major projects like the Orlando International Airport, Epcot and Disney. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, an apprenticeship instructor at Mid Florida Technical Institute, and dedicated his time teaching carpentry skills to inmates as part of their rehabilitation.

He is survived by his wife Sandra, brothers Tom Tritt (Sherry) and Gary Tritt (Lorinda), son Scott Tritt (Brandi), daughter Brooke Smith (Brian), stepdaughters Melissa Wood and Kristina Tabbara (Rabih), grandchildren Kiley, Serena, Ellie, Liam and Alia.

The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM on June 6th at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL. The Memorial Service will begin at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Cornerstone Hospice, The American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or The Russell Home.
