Joseph Fred Burke Jr.

Joseph Fred “Joe” Burke Jr., 62, of Orlando, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

He was born on March 10, 1963 in Orlando, the son of Joseph Fred Sr. and Clara (Phillips) Burke. Joe worked for several years as a business owner in the construction industry. He enjoyed adventure and was always known for being in a joyous mood. His generosity and his personality was as big as his heart.

In addition to his mother, Clara Williamson of Orlando, he is survived by his daughter; Alicia Burke Hess and her husband Ryan of New Smyrna Beach, FL, , one son, Joseph Andrew Burke of Charlotte, NC, one grandchild, Kai Hess of New Smyrna Beach, FL, , one brother, Terry Burke of Orlando, FL., four sisters; Faye Aldrich and her husband James of Orlando, Sandy Capatosto of Orlando, FL., Tammie Burke of Orlando, FL., Venia Szuchon and her husband Michael of Orlando, FL, one sister-in-law, Cathie Daugherty of Orlando, FL., many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two brothers; Donny Daugherty and Rendell Daugherty and one brother-in-law, Donny Capatosto.

Visitation will be held from 11AM to 12 Noon on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Sanctuary Church, 2719 Conway Gardens Road, Orlando, FL 32806. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 Noon, also at the church. Burial will be private.
