Joseph Sharley, Jr.

Joseph James Sharley, 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon (July 23, 2019) at his home in Orlando, FL.
Mr. Sharley was born in Sharon, PA, December 27, 1935, son of Joseph and Anna Sharley. He graduated from Sharon High School in 1953 and was employed by Westinghouse, Sears, then retired from Sawhill Tubular. Joseph honorably served overseas in the Army and then in the Army Reserves.

Joseph was of the Christian faith and was a member of Conway United Methodist Church, Orlando. He enjoyed spending time with family and working on his ’62 Chevy Impala.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Thelma; a brother, James (Betsy) Sharley; a sister, Mrs. Kathy (Edward) Gladysz; a daughter, Deborah Gurrera, and a son, Joseph (Kristine) Sharley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Ault; a son, David Sharley; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Sharley.

A ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2:00pm, at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL.
