Joyce Taylor, 96, of Orlando, Florida went to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 1, 2025. She was born in Tyronza, Arkansas to the late Charles Eugene Mullins and Sybil Mae Day Mullins.
She married the love of her life, Glen Dale Taylor, her husband of 60 years. Joyce was a devoted wife and mother first and foremost.
She was quick-witted and enjoyed joking around, earning her the endearing name of "trouble" or "clown"! She loved spending time with her grandchildren, creating memories, and was actively involved in all their lives.
In her leisure time she enjoyed cross-stitching, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and playing cards with the family. She was also a talented seamstress. In her younger years she taught the tiny tots Sunday school class and has always been very involved in her church, often singing in a quartet.
Joyce initiated an outreach luncheon that included a group of ladies that meet every Thursday for lunch. This outreach grew in number and was something they all looked forward to every week. They became known as the Thursday Lunch Bunch.
Joyce will forever be in our hearts.
