In Loving Memory of Judy Diane Mangiaforte

Judy Diane Mangiaforte, 70, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, at 7:16 p.m. Born on October 26, 1955, in Deer Lake, Newfoundland, Canada, Judy lived a remarkable life defined by courage, love, laughter, faith, generosity, and the many lives she touched along the way.

At just 15 years old, Judy bravely moved to the United States on her own, beginning a new chapter of her life with strength and determination. Five years later, at the age of 20, she met the love of her life and soulmate, Vincent Phillip Mangiaforte. Together, they built a beautiful life in Winter Park, Florida, sharing more than 50 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion to one another.

In 1999, Judy and Vincent fulfilled a lifelong dream when they built their beautiful lakefront home in Conway, Florida, on property that had been in Vincent's Family (The Barber family) since 1850. The home became a place of peace, happiness, and cherished memories. Judy loved the lake's breathtaking view and enjoyed its beauty every day until she entered hospice care on June 22, 2026. It was a place she treasured and was proud to call home.

Judy dedicated more than 40 years of her life to the banking industry, including 25 years with Barnett Bank. Throughout her career, she received numerous awards and recognition for her dedication, professionalism, and outstanding work. Judy was incredibly proud of her accomplishments and the career she built, but what meant the most to her were the many wonderful friendships she formed along the way. The people she worked with became an important part of her life, and many friendships continued long after her working years ended.

Judy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader who collected thousands of books throughout the years. Her love of reading was so great that her collection was donated to libraries throughout the Orlando area, allowing others to continue to enjoy the stories she treasured. She also loved creating beautiful stamp art using unique stamps she discovered from around the world, turning small pieces of history into works of art that she gave to all the special people in her life.

Although Judy was not a member of a church, she was a devoted Christian who loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was an important part of who she was and guided the compassion, kindness, and generosity she showed throughout her life.

Judy had a gift for making people laugh. She will always be remembered for her incredible sense of humor, quick wit, playful sass, and ability to bring joy into any room. She was a wonderful cook, and many will fondly remember her famous lasagna and the love she put into every bite of every meal she prepared. More than anything, Judy will be remembered for her caring heart, generous spirit, and the way she made people feel loved and valued.

Judy treasured her dear friends Melva, Viola, and Cindy, who brought so much happiness to her life. She also held a special appreciation for her wonderful neighbors and friends, Karen and Barbara, whose kindness and companionship meant so much to her.

In the final months of her life, Judy shared a special bond with her stepdaughter, Rachael Mozier. After Vincent's sudden passing, their relationship grew into a deep friendship. During Judy's final six months, Rachael had the privilege of caring for her with love, compassion, and devotion. The two became best friends, created many precious memories, and shared a closeness they both treasured.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soulmate, Vincent Phillip Mangiaforte; her mother, Beulah Margaret White; and her father, Allan Elbert White.

She is lovingly remembered by her stepdaughter, Rachael Mozier; her beloved grandchildren, Dominick Mangiaforte and Miranda Morey-Mangiaforte; her treasured great-granddaughter, Serana Morey; her brothers, Clarence White and his wife, Rosie, and Larry White and his wife, Cathy; her sister, Heather Stewart and her husband, Quentin; her nephews Allan, Stephen, Kyle, and Daniel; Daniel Mozier; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Judy also treasured the opportunity in recent years to reconnect with Lisa LaSane, as well as Lisa's husband, Sean, and daughters, Erin and Karina. She was grateful for the opportunity to build a connection and share family moments.

A Celebration of Judy's Life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Carey Hand Funeral Home on Colonial Drive in Orlando, Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate the life of a woman who brought laughter, love, and kindness into the lives of so many.

Judy's story was one of courage, devotion, resilience, and love. From the young woman who bravely came to America alone to the devoted wife who built a beautiful life with Vincent to the friend who made everyone laugh to the woman whose generosity touched countless lives, Judy leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered always.

Though she is deeply missed, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lives she touched will live forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
