Kathy King passed away peacefully in her home with her family at her side on Thursday October 25, 2018. Kathy was born May 6, 1949 to James Franklin Beck and Celia Mae Copp in Hillsdale, MI.

Throughout her career, Kathy had several mentorship and leadership roles, including V.P. of Sales for Tupperware, U.S and Tupperware, Canada. However, her most fulfilling position was with Junior Achievement. Kathy loved working with the students at the JA Academy for Leadership & Entrepreneurship. Her labor was driven by the belief that every student should have the ability to show success. Kathy loved watching "her kids" graduate and move on to achieve success in higher learning. She left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Jerry W. King and her children, Jason (Judy) and Nicole (Michael) and her dearly loved granddaughter Madeline. Her love extended to her step grandchildren Teresa, Nicholas and Anthony as if they were her own. Kathy was preceded in death by her sister Susan Darlene Beck. She is survived by sisters, Nancy Entrikin of North Adams, MI, Pat Sager of Jackson, MI and brother, James Franklin Beck (Tracie) of Grasslake, MI.

A funeral will be held at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home 2811 East Curry Ford Road, Orlando 32806. Viewing on Monday October 29 from 5:oo p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Service on Tuesday, October 30 11:00 a.m. with burial service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Kathy requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her memory to: Vanessa Echols Compassionate Hands & Hearts 407-864-6458 and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary 435-644-200
