Lynne Jaques Knorr, 85, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023, in Orlando, Florida. Born in Umatilla, Florida on January 16, 1938, Lynne spent most of her life contributing to her community and uplifting the lives of those around her. She was a Devoted Mother and Grandmother. 

She was a proud graduate of the University of Florida, and later earned a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Duke University. Lynne served as a dedicated Physical Therapist until her retirement, positively impacting countless lives through her compassionate service.

As a woman of faith and community, Lynne served as a Deacon at the Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Orlando and was a lifelong choir member. She loved music and believed in the power of community, contributing her time and talents to the betterment of all. She served as past President of the Central Florida Genealogical Society, sharing her love of history and family ties with others.

Beyond her professional life and community service, Lynne was an ardent traveler. She loved exploring new places, immersing herself in different cultures, and making memories with her family. But above all else, Lynne was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Lynne is survived by her son, Kenneth Knorr, her daughter-in-law, Tina Knorr, her grandson Michael Knorr, her granddaughter Lauren Bergeron, and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL 32806.

A celebration of Lynne's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, at the Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1655 Peel Ave, Orlando, FL 32806. A luncheon will follow the service at 12 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.org.

Lynne's generous spirit, steadfast faith, and unwavering love for her family and community will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her.
