Marian Ware

March 4, 1924 — January 23, 2017

Ware, Marian Jackman, 92, of Altamonte Springs, FL went home to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ on January 23, 2017. Marian is survived by sisters, Frances Tenison and Harriet Brandt; children, Cathy and Steve Grant, and Judy and Dale Yap; grandchildren, Tom, Aaron, and David Grant, Jessica and Ariana Yap, and also great-grandchildren, Logan, Caleb, Noah, Sophia Marian and Grace Grant.

Marian served and loved the Lord Jesus Christ, was active at Fellowship Church in Winter Springs, FL; and St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Evanston, IL; and Avondale Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. She was an integral part of Joy Bible Class and the Healing Waters Prayer Group. She served as an officer of the Class of 1946 of Smith College and
as President of the North Shore MacDowell Society of Allied Arts.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 11th, 4:00 pm, Fellowship Church, 5340 Red Bug Lake Rd. Winter Springs. She will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery with husband Lt. Thomas Grant Ware, Jr. USN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Fellowship Church/K'dumim Fund, Overseas Council International, World Vision or Feed the Hungry.
