Mary Harris

Mary Florence Harris, 98, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on November 28, 2016. Mary was born in North Freedom, Wisconsin, to the late William Miner and Pearl Hanger Miner. She was a devoted member of Conway United Methodist Church in Orlando since 1948. She was Chairman of the Building Committee, she was the first Youth Counselor, the Sunday School Director, the Chairperson of the Board of Education and President of the WSCS and UMW. Mary was also a school bus driver for Orange County and made time to be the Family Cook. She is survived by her loving children Sue, David and Roy, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will take place at Conway United Methodist Church, 3401 S. Conway Road, Orlando, FL, on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL.
