Melissa Carrasquillo

Melissa Carrasquillo, 42, beloved Spouse, Daughter and Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on February 25, 2024. She entered this world on April 30, 1981 in Queens, NY, born to Robert and Evelyn Carrasquillo. She is survived by her spouse Ilich Yacaman; father Robert Carrasquillo; mother Evelyn Cabrera and sons Estevan, Vladimir Jr, and Angelo.

Melissa always chose baseball gloves over Barbie dolls. She was a softball pitcher and greater hitter in the neighborhood league and middle school athletics. She was MVP in the league and the league's all-star game.

Melissa had a great love for outdoors and would rather be out playing with her friends than anything else. Her loving spirit was easy to see in the way she took care of others, placing her family's needs before her own. She was a loving mother who cherished her three boys.

Missy had just a strong desire to be as helpful as possible when ever possible.

Melissa had a great impact on many friends and family, being the shoulder to cry on or the life of the party, creating memories that will last forever. 

To my Darling Baby, rest in peace, until we sing with the Angels together. I love you.
