Nancy Lee Simmons

Nancy Lee Bogard Simmons, 83, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on February 21st, 2026. She was born on March 22nd, 1942 in South Gate, California to John Richard and Ida Lucille Bogard. From an early age, Nancy radiated a remarkable confidence that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her spirited nature carried her gracefully throughout childhood and into young adulthood, shaping the strong, compassionate woman she became. In 1973, Nancy made her home in Orlando, where she built a beautiful life centered around family, friendship, and countless cherished memories.

A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Nancy found her greatest happiness in the time spent with those she held dear. Nancy's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will forever be treasured by all who had the profound privilege of knowing and loving her. Though she will be deeply missed, the joy she shared so freely will continue to shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, John Richard and Ida Lucille Bogard; her brother, Dickie Bogard; her son, Ronald David Reed; and her son-in-law, Timothy Kinna.

She is survived by her sister, Anita Bogard Hernandez (Daniel); her daughter, Ronda Reed Kinna; her stepchildren, Tiffany Michel (Nolan), Troy Simmons (Michelle) and their families; her nieces and nephew, Cheri Bogard Martinez, Bob Bogard, Kristin Kowalsky (Andrew), Lisa Van Nerynen (Chad) and their families; her grandchildren, Randi and her family, Jennifer (Evan), Jacob Kinna (Anairis), Rachel Kinna and Robbie Michel; and her adored great-grandsons.

Family and friends will gather to honor Nancy's life on March 8th, 2026 at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1-2pm, with service beginning promptly at 2pm. Burial will take place on March 9th, 2026 at Greenwood Cemetery at 11am.
