Peter Fekete

Peter "Pete" Alfred Fekete, 74, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2021. "Pete" was born on March 21, 1947 in Heidelberg, Germany, to Alfred E. and Joanna Plowden Fekete. He is survived by his son, David Hall Fekete (Marianne); one grandchild, Michael David Fekete; sister, Joal Fekete Green (Earl), all of Orlando, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. The oldest of three children, he was preceded in death by his parents and youngest sister Ilona "Bubbles" Fekete Edwards.

He served with distinction in the 82nd and 101st Airborne in Vietnam and received a number of awards for valor including Purple Hearts and Bronze Stars.  Subsequent to leaving the Army, he eventually opened Creative Media Outdoor Advertising and after the sale of this company started Outdoor Media Consulting and Appraisal.  Over the last number of years, he developed a passion for researching and collecting antique microscopes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
