RaeLynn Michelle Ward

RaeLynn Michelle Ward, a dedicated individual who spent her career working for the United States Government, has sadly passed away. She was known for her service as a retired Captain in United States Army and her love for adventure, particularly her passion for cruises. RaeLynn was a vivacious soul who lit up any gathering with her infectious energy, earning the title of "life of the party" among her friends and family.

Born on February 5, 1959, in Lake Forest, IL, RaeLynn's journey came to an end on February 10, 2024, at sea. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her warm personality and compassion. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

RaeLynn's memory will be honored at the upcoming services. A gathering will take place on February 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home in Orlando, FL. Following this, a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at the same location. Finally, a Graveside Service will be conducted at Conway Cemetery in Orlando.

She is survived by many loving relatives including her father CMDR. Durrell Johnson, mother Barbara Johnson, brothers Jeffrey and Robin Johnson, sisters-in-law Linda and Laura Johnson, nieces Lacey "Michael" Heard and Cydney "Jarrett" Comer, nephews Dylan Johnson and DJ Johnson, great-nephew Harrison Heard, great-niece Hadley Heard and her dog Duchess along with numerous other cherished family members and friends.

RaeLynn Michelle Ward leaves behind a legacy of joy and kindness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her in this life. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved beyond measure.
