Ron Cambra

Ronald “Ron” Cambra, 74, passed away on October 24, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. Born on June 14, 1951, in Assonet, Massachusetts, Ron lived a life defined by integrity, dedication, and love for his family

Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before building a long and respected career as an electrician. Among his proudest accomplishments were his naval service, his marriage to his beloved wife, Kathie, and the many friendships he built along the way. Ron had a passion for cars and enjoyed time spent at the range, hobbies that reflected his hands-on, focused nature.

He was a man of deep faith and unwavering commitment who took his responsibilities seriously. Ron especially cherished his God-given duty to care for his wife, Kathie, loving her deeply and selflessly—even at the expense of his own health. Those who knew him will remember his strength, loyalty, and quiet devotion.

Ron was a member of the NRA and will be fondly remembered for his integrity and steadfast love.

He is survived by his wife, Kathie Cambra, and his sisters Janet Ponte, Kathryn Cruz (Kathy), Susan Schader, and Betsy Moquin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Phyllis Cambra, and his sister, Marjorie “Marge” Diaz.

A Memorial Service for Ron will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, located at 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida. The Honor Guard and Family Prayer will begin at 3:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Advent Hospice in Ron’s memory.
