Teri Lee Brittingham   July 12, 1973 to March 28, 2023

Teri was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, moved to Prince Frederick, Maryland in first grade, graduated from Calvert High School in 1991. She completed a bachelors degree in social work and psychology then a master’s in Special Education from McDaniel College in Westminster, Md.  She worked with developmentally delayed adults (and was exceptional with them) and Head Start in Westminster then moved to Annapolis and taught special education. Sixteen years ago, needing to avoid cold weather, she and her friend since childhood moved to Orlando, Florida.  She found her home with the church. She first devoted her life to Christ Church of Orlando using her talent with sign language to assist the deaf. Six years ago she transferred her membership to Faith Assembly but never lost contact with Christ Church, visiting when she could and watching their services on line.   With Faith Assembly, Curry Road, she participated in the programs for singles, helped with the support of the deaf, and took many courses to improve her knowledge of the Bible and of the church.  She also took courses to expand her counseling skills to become more helpful to others.  Her main focus though, was Faith Assembly, Red Bug campus where she participated in everything. Loved everyone and was loved.

Teri was a dedicated employee of MIS Insurance Solutions in Maitland, Fl.

Throughout her life everyone who knew her said she was the sweetest person they knew.  She was always helpful and kind. She also loved to write, particularly poetry, hoping to someday publish them. This will be done.

Teri was predeceased by her adored older brother March 14, 2022. She is survived by her family in Maryland and Delaware:  mother, Linda Parker, father, Chip Brittingham, sister, Michelle Brittingham, half-brother, Matt Brittingham, aunts: Nancy Feichtl and husband, Joe and Polly Caton and husband, Bill.  Her sister-in-law, Kory Williams Brittingham, lives in Colorado.  Very importantly she is also survived by her adopted family, her church.

In May of 2021 she wrote some thoughts about her demise prior to going in for brain surgery which was quite successful.  These words are more special today after her sudden passing.

I am leaving my footprint with grains of sand that God has given me in the best way that I at the moment could think to do so. I appreciate all of you past and present. I thank all of you for the tremendous blessings that you were to me and am honored to leave this world continuing to impact empower, and propel others just as you have impacted, empowered and propelled me and inspired me to love, to be, to do what God has called me to, greater than I could possibly have ever imagined or have words for. God took me out of a "cave" to ensure that he used me far beyond that cave. I thank you God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I only wished that I had had more time and ability to live up to and do the greater things you had asked of me. I appreciate the time and the ability that I was given. I pray you all do to,

Thank you, love you, miss you and God Bless
