Orlando, Florida - Thomas John DePorter, 74, died Tuesday, December 11th 2018 at his lifelong residence following a short battle with cancer.

He is preceded in death by his parents: John Walter DePorter, Helen Waite DePorter, Grandparents; Peter Francis DePorter, Maria DePorter, A son; Thomas John DePorter ll. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Louise DePorter (Henson); his son, Gregory Scott DePorter; His grandchildren, Fawnna DePorter and Katelynn DePorter; A great-grandchild; Thomas DePorter; A Daughter-In-Law Kathy DePorter Fortner; Two Sisters; Katherine Robbins & Frances Diehl, Four Nieces, Rebecca Robbins, Jodi Newcom, Kay McAfee, Alyson Diehl, and his beagle companion Honey DePorter. As well as many, many close friends.

Born on May 29th,1944. In Orlando, Florida, he was a lifelong resident of Orange County.

All of his life he enjoyed the outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and carpentry. He was a member of Carpenter's local 1765 union. He was also a visitor and friend to the Russell Family and Russell Home.
