Virginia "Ginny" Brown, a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12th, 2026 with her loved ones by her side. She was a woman of remarkable kindness, love, and fighting spirit who touched the lives of all who knew her. Ginny was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 19th, 1947 and spent most of her life in Orlando, Florida, where she graduated from Boone High School, Class of 1965.
Ginny lived for her family, and her beloved husband Stan. Her greatest joy was raising her two sons, Alan and Chris "Critter". She was known for her dedication and passion for her family, caring for her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was an avid fisherman, who also enjoyed playing tennis, golf, softball, poker, and many other games with her friends. She loved spending time with her friends and loved ones watching the Gators play football on Saturdays and drinking a Miller Lite. She enjoyed vacationing in Sebastian, Florida to go fishing and North Carolina for golf trips. Her home was always filled with laughter and music, which she loved to listen to while sitting on her back porch watching airplanes and drinking sweet tea.
She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband Stan, her precious children, Chris and Alan, her sisters Carol, Christine "Tina", and Jeanette, as well as several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will forever cherish her memory. Ginny was preceded in death by her sister Sharon, and her parents Christian "Chris" Carl Pfitzer and Virginia "Ginny" Mae Pfitzer.
