Waylon Henry Richards, age 4, of O'Fallon, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, surrounded by family and held lovingly in the arms of his mother, father, and brother. Waylon was a true warrior and the bravest little boy. A precious blessing from God, he touched the lives of so many with his sweet spirit and strong personality. He was a sassy cuddle bug whose favorite place was in his mama's arms. He dearly loved his brother, Mason, his best friend. Waylon's daddy was his hero, and he followed his every move with wide-eyed admiration and love. Waylon always knew exactly what he liked and didn't like, often letting everyone know with a firm "stop" or "too loud." He loved having things his way and never missed a chance to watch his favorite cartoons.

Although our hearts ache deeply, the family asks that Waylon's life be celebrated and remembered with love and joy. We find comfort in knowing that he is now resting peacefully with YHWH YHWSH, and we hold onto the promise that we will see him again in Heaven.

Waylon is survived by his loving parents, Sarah and Dustin Richards, and his big brother, Mason.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Firstborn, 3070 New Hall Rd, Greenbrier, TN 37073 on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
