William "Bill" E. Neal

William E. (Bill) Neal, 84, passed away on February 4, 2024, in Orlando, FL.

Bill was born in Orlando and grew up on Lake Hourglass, graduating from Boone High School in 1958.

While serving in the United States Air Force, Bill married Susan Lassek in 1963 in Lincoln, NE.

Bill returned with his family to Orlando to begin a career as a homebuilder but moved on to develop Cloverdale Apartments in 1968, which he owned and operated the rest of his life. Bill spent his life creating quality living for hundreds of households over the years, all within a family environment. He loved every minute of it and greatly appreciated the relationships he formed over the years.

He enjoyed boating, wood carving and spending time relaxing at the beach.

Bill loved his family and is survived by his sons William M. Neal (Renee) and Randall H. Neal (Dena) and three grandchildren Michaelea, Blake and Kaley.  Bill is preceded in death by his wife Susan M. Neal, father, William A. Neal, mother Hazel M. Neal, brother Michael T. Neal and sister Marilyn N. Mulloy.   

The service for William E. Neal will be held on Friday, March 1, at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery.

For those inclined, Bill defeated cancer four times in his life, so a memorial donation can be made in William's name to the Orlando Health Cancer Institute outside of a flower donation.
