William Frederick Wetmore II

William (Bill) Frederick Wetmore II, 51, beloved husband, father, son and brother, passed away on December 13, 2023, following a courageous battle with neuroendocrine cancer.

Although Bill was generally a quiet man, those who had the good fortune to get to know him were blessed with his infectious, wry sense of humor and razor sharp wit. Bill had a big heart and was always willing to help out family and friends, as well as any animals in need. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family and pets, traveling, reading and continually learning.

Bill grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Central Catholic High School where he played football and basketball.  He went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Cincinnati, where he met his wife, Trisha, and was a member of the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. Bill later obtained his Master of Business Administration from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Bill is survived by his wife, Trisha; daughter, Kennedy; father, William; and sister, Wendy; and is preceded in death by his mother, Mary.

A funeral mass for Bill is scheduled for 10 am on December 18, 2023, at St. James Cathedral in Orlando, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made, in Bill’s name, to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation.
