Juan Gonzalez, 86, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2020 surrounded by his children. He was born to parents Juan Gonzalez and Verena Morales in Güinia de Miranda, Cuba on January 5, 1934.

Juan married Orilda Espinosa, the love of his life in 1961, who survives him. Juan is also survived by his daughter, Anna Reyes and her husband Rolando as well as their children Daniel and Cristina; daughter, Sylvia Picton and her husband Kenneth as well as their children Andrew and Andrea; daughter Nancy Zapatero and her husband Alfredo as well as their child Lily. Juan is predeceased by his parents Juan and Verena Gonzalez, and his brothers Amado Gonzalez and Luciano Gonzalez.

Juan arrived in the United States in 1962 and after much hard work, alongside his devoted wife, began to invest in grocery stores, laundromats, and real estate. He became a naturalized citizen in 1971. Juan was a dedicated loving husband who adored his family.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 10:00am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery
