Lynne Batten Puder, 69, of Orlando, passed away March 11, 2020 in Houston after a three year courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Orlando, the daughter of Jack and Jean (Jarriel) Batten.

Lynne was educated in Orlando where she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen at Boone High School.  She was a University of Georgia Bulldog.
In May 2000, Lynne married the love of her life, John N. Puder, at First Presbyterian Church, Orlando.

Lynne was a real estate broker and a very active member of her community.  She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.  She served as House Chairman for two years at the Rosalind Club and was an avid bridge player who achieved her Bronze Life Master.

Lynne enjoyed life and was compassionate toward others, always rooting for the underdog and giving her best in everything she did.  She loved spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling, working out, roller skating and time at the beach.  She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She leaves behind her loving husband, John, several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, her mother-in-law, father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and a multitude of friends.  She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Jean Batten, and her brother, John Batten.

Burial service will be private.  Due to the coronavirus, a memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
