Mildred Evans

Mildred Teague Evans, age 91, passed away on March 1st in Orlando, Florida.  She was a long-time resident of Gainesville and a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Gainesville Garden Club.  Mildred was born on July 16, 1930, in Winston Salem, NC to Clyde and Stella Teague and graduated from Duke University with a degree in Nursing.  She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Teague and Lucy (Billy) Rudolph and her four children, Ben Evans, Jennifer (Russell) Ramski, Adam Evans, and Gale (Marty) Evans-Brown.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dillon (Brooke) Ramski and Jordan Ramski as well as Ryan Evans and Ian Evans, and many nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends.  Celebration of life is planned for Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Pine Castle Woman’s Club at 5901 S. Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809.  In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation in Mildred’s name to the aforementioned Woman’s Club or to MacDonald Training Center Memorial (where her son Ben attends), 5420 West Cypress Street, Tampa, FL 33607.  Please share a Memory with the family through our on line guest book.
