Born October 5, 1931 in Pompey, New York to Walter and Stella Kellish. Shirley was the last surviving member of six children, Sophie, John, Ben, Eleanor, Kay and Shirley.
Shirley married James Francis Bullion in 1951. High school sweethearts, a marriage that lasted 56 years until his passing in 2007. Together they had three children, Christine McCurry, James Bullion Jr. and John Bullion; three grandchildren, John McCurry, Jean McCurry and Shane Bullion.
Shirley and James moved permanently to Florida from New York in 1969, subsequently residing in Winter Park in 1979. There they became active members of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Shirley's last place of residence was Westminster Winter Park.
Shirley was a homemaker who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially the western portion of the United States. Together they visited all fifty states several times, but their favorite was Santa Fe, New Mexico where they liked to bring in the new year. Shirley also accompanied her husband, James on numerous business trips including travel to Europe.
Shirley is survived by sons, James Jr and his wife, Jeannette, John and his wife, Lisa. Grandchildren, John McCurry and his wife, Kim, Jean McCurry and Shane Bullion. Step-grandchildren, Courtney and Andrew along with more than dozens of nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren, one great grandchild, Karia Layne McCurry soon to arrive in December 2020. Shirley was called home to be with our Lord September 2, 2020. She will be greatly missed.
