Thomas Joseph KillKelley 84, of Orlando, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was born on January 15,1936 in Nashua, New Hampshire to Thomas and Anna KillKelley. He attended Saint Anselm College and Boston University Law School, as well as served in the United States Army. Thomas went on to have a rewarding and successful career with the United States Postal Service for over 40 years. He was married to his wife Marcia Louise KillKelley for 54 years and they have three children and three grandchildren.
Thomas was an amazingly dedicated Husband, Father and Grandfather. As an athlete all of his life, he was an avid sports fan on every level, adoring his beloved Boston teams, the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox, as well as coaching Conway Little League baseball and soccer for many years in his local community. Being of Irish descent, he took great pride in his heritage, his Catholic faith and upbringing and in the life he lived every day. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was unbelievably humble, kindhearted and he centered his entire life around the most important thing to him, his family.
Thomas was predeceased by his son Christopher Michael KillKelley in 1992 and survived by his beloved wife Marcia Louise KillKelley, Son Thomas J. KillKelley and wife Ryan, Daughter Kathleen A. Ruback and husband Michael and his three beautiful granddaughters which were the light of his life, Abigail Christen Ruback (19), Elizabeth Katherine (8) and Riley Anne (7) KillKelley. He also considered his extended family, cousins and friends some of the dearest and closest people to his heart.
Services and a Celebration of Life for Thomas will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in memory of Thomas and Christopher KillKelley to the Osteosarcoma Research Fund at the UF College of Medicine Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
