Orlando pioneer family member and Orlando native, Virginia S. Carter, born May 29, 1927, passed away at her home on September 5, 2020.
  
  
  
  
   She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Coward Scott and father, John Henry Scott. Also her twin sisters, Nona Scott Henderson and Nina Scott Moffet.
  
  
  
  
   She is survived by her sister Linda Scott Howard , and daughters G. Katziel Carter and Candi Carter Shelton (Gary), all of Winter Garden, Her Grandson, J. Anthony Scott Bohrman of New York, also survives.
  
  
  
  
   In addition she is survived by nephew, Vance Henderson, of Orlando, and nieces, Carrie Howard Wicorek, of Seattle, WA and Melanie Howard Hall of Winter Garden. Twelve great nieces and nephews have loving and fond memories of their Great “Aunt Ginny”.
  
  
  
  
   She was an active member of the graduation class of Orlando High School in 1945.She worked for Southern Bell Telephone Company and in retail sales, retiring from Jordan Marsh of
  
  
   Orlando. She always loved her home and yard and gardening. She was active in many organizations including the following:
